Global warming: does earth have some hope?

Our hope is very bleak. If we still maintain a figure of 1.2billion CO2-emitting cars on roads worldwide today ( a statistics from the automotive trade journal), and 2billion by 2035, then our hope of taking charge of the climate is really bleak, as emission of CO2 by these cars is inevitable; hence chronic and irreversible global warming.

The earth will go dead on us and without the hope of ever resuscitating it if bush and refuse burning persist; these are not minor contributors to global warming; our hope only stops to look pale and unalive when we hit the reverse gear and begin to employ creative thinking and actions to environmental related concerns.

If the industrial sector does not refine its production process into one that supports environmental protection then we are bound to lose cosmos. Manufacturing and industrial processes all combine to produce large amounts of each of the greenhouse gases but specifically large amounts of CO2. This is because many manufacturing facilities directly use fossil fuels to create heat and steam needed at various stages of production. For example, factories in the cement industry, have to heat up limestone to 1450 degrees to turn it into cement, which is done by burning fossil fuel to generate the required heat.

Having said all these; we need to adopt new strategies to waste disposal, land clearing and preparation and industrial production processes. As the saying goes "same pattern same results, new pattern new results". The people of the world hope for a change, alas, hope is never a strategy for anything, if anyone wants change,  a good result from whatever venture, he must perform good actions. If we change strategies diligently and not just hope that things change by themselves then I believe we will not just get new results but better ones.
