Cosmos is sick; we hurt her everyday
We hurt her when we cut trees and don't replant
When we puff smoke on her face
And force her to drink toxins,
Synthetics that promised to multiply and secure our food
The chemicals have not just dealt with man's health,
And for the harm brought to her, mother earth weeps
She looks so pale from the tears she cried.
As cosmos gives way; flowers too are gone
And so are the bees too;
Man is king and he's misruled
Like a drunk king,
He didn't bring order
Instead he invited chaos
And there he sits in the land
Our current situation of global warming calls for action
Buy a tree
Plant a tree
It will block out direct rays of the sun
It will form a lifelong shade for the incoming generations
The birds will get a place to perch on in the cities
Plant a tree today; and never stop planting.
